About the Role
People 4 Property are delighted to be working with a highly respected independent estate agency in Walton-on-Thames, who are seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join their established team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager or a residential lettings professional looking to develop their career within property management.
You will manage your own portfolio of residential properties, acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy. You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team within a successful business that is committed to delivering an exceptional level of service.
The Role
As Property Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties
- Responding to day-to-day enquiries from landlords and tenants
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance with trusted contractors
- Arranging property inspections and reviewing the resulting reports
- Managing tenancy renewals and changes throughout the tenancy
- Advising landlords on maintenance, compliance and their responsibilities
- Managing deposits and end-of-tenancy matters
- Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and branch teams
- Maintaining accurate property and tenancy records
- Ensuring all enquiries and issues are followed through promptly
- Taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution
- Providing proactive communication and consistently excellent customer service
About You
The successful candidate will be calm, organised and confident managing a busy workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
You will ideally:
- Have previous property management or residential lettings experience
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion
- Be confident dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors
- Have a good understanding of residential lettings legislation or a willingness to develop your knowledge
- Work well as part of a close-knit and supportive team
- Have a positive, professional and proactive approach
- Be confident using property management and administrative systems
Relevant ARLA Propertymark qualifications would be advantageous, although ongoing training and development will be provided.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm
