About the Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Sales Progression to join a highly successful, market-leading independent estate agency in Guildford.
This is a pivotal leadership role within a high-performing business handling a significant volume of transactions annually. You’ll take ownership of the sales pipeline, lead a dedicated team, and ensure every client receives a seamless, professional, and highly personalised experience from offer through to completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing and driving the entire sales progression function—balancing efficiency, communication, and client care at every stage of the process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and progressing a high-volume pipeline from sale agreed through to completion
- Identifying and resolving issues quickly to keep transactions moving
- Delivering a proactive, relationship-led service to both clients and buyers
- Acting as a central point of contact for solicitors, agents, buyers, and vendors
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small sales progression team
- Monitoring performance metrics including fall-through rates and transaction times
- Continuously improving processes to ensure efficiency without compromising service
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in sales progression or residential property transactions
- Experience managing or mentoring a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy pipeline
- Excellent communication skills—confident, professional, and personable
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to balance attention to detail with a commercial, big-picture approach
