About the Role
People 4 Property are delighted to be working with a highly regarded independent estate agency who are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support the Sales Director in driving performance across Cobham and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for a proven Senior Sales Negotiator who is ready to step into a broader leadership and operational capacity, while still delivering strong personal sales results.
The Role
As Assistant Sales Manager, you will act as the Sales Director’s number two, combining hands-on sales progression with leadership, operational oversight and a consistent commitment to values-led service. You will help elevate standards across multiple offices, ensuring exceptional client experience and high-quality sales performance throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Service

Manage active buyers and sellers, delivering exceptional service throughout

Conduct viewings, negotiate offers and progress sales through to completion

Attend valuations as required (not a core focus of the role)

Maintain outstanding communication with clients, reflecting company values
Team Support & Leadership

Support day-to-day operations and step in for the Sales Director when needed

Mentor and guide negotiators, helping raise standards and consistency

Participate in morning meetings, training and performance reviews as required
Operational Oversight

Support applicant management, diary flow, viewing quality and sales progression standards across all offices

Assist with pipeline management, stock reviews and recommendations on pricing/marketing

Contribute to weekly KPI reviews and keep internal systems updated accurately
Cross-Office Collaboration

Predominantly Cobham based, with flexibility to work across Claygate and Hinchley Wood

Maintain brand consistency, culture and leadership presence across all locations
Skills & Experience Required

Strong track record as a Senior Sales Negotiator within residential estate agency

Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills

Calm under pressure, with high personal standards and strong attention to detail

Commercially aware, confident decision maker and trusted by colleagues

Full UK driving licence and own car
Salary, Commission & Benefits
Basic Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
Commission & Bonuses:

Personal sales commission (aligned with Senior Negotiator levels)

Office commission linked to office performance

Discretionary half-yearly bonus based on contribution and operational support
OTE:
-
£50,000 – £55,000 in year one
-
High performers can exceed £65,000 in a strong market
