About the Role
People 4 Property are delighted to be working with one of the South East’s most established and highly regarded independent property firms who are looking to recruit an experienced Head of New Homes to lead and grow their successful New Homes division across West Sussex and the surrounding areas.
This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded property professional to take on a senior leadership role within a respected multi-disciplinary property business with an exceptional regional reputation and strong developer relationships.
The company has an extensive network of offices across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire and offers a full range of property services including residential sales and lettings, land and development, planning, surveying and commercial property. Their New Homes department is a key strategic area of growth and they are now seeking an experienced leader to drive the division forward.
The Role
As Head of New Homes, you will take full responsibility for the strategic direction, commercial performance and day-to-day leadership of the department.
You will work closely with developers, housebuilders, landowners and internal teams to secure instructions, oversee launches and maximise sales performance across a range of residential developments.
This is a client-facing leadership role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, winning business and leading successful teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring and developing the New Homes team
- Winning and managing new homes instructions across West Sussex and surrounding areas
- Building strong relationships with regional and national housebuilders, developers and housing associations
- Advising clients on pricing, market conditions and sales strategy
- Overseeing developments from launch through to legal completion
- Working closely with land, planning and development teams
- Producing pipeline and sales forecasts for senior management
- Representing the business at networking events, launches and industry functions
- Ensuring compliance with industry legislation and professional standards
About You
The successful candidate will have a strong background in new homes property sales along with proven experience managing developer relationships and driving business growth.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience within New Homes sales
- Previous management or senior leadership experience
- A proven track record of winning instructions and building developer relationships
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- A sound understanding of the planning and development process
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- A full UK driving licence
