Senior Lettings Negotiator

People 4 Property are delighted to be recruiting for an established residential estate and lettings agency in Kingston upon Thames.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Lettings Negotiator to join a knowledgeable and supportive team covering Kingston, Norbiton, Surbiton and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will manage applicants throughout their property search while helping landlords secure suitable tenants with minimum delay.

The Opportunity

You will join a busy, customer-focused office with a strong presence in the local market. This role would suit an ambitious negotiator who enjoys working with people, thrives in a target-driven environment and is motivated by achieving excellent results.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing your own database of applicants
• Responding promptly to new enquiries
• Matching applicants with suitable available properties
• Contacting prospective tenants when new properties become available
• Arranging and accompanying applicants on viewings
• Following up on viewings and maintaining regular communication
• Negotiating offers and tenancy terms between landlords and tenants
• Progressing agreed tenancies through to completion
• Liaising with landlords, tenants and other parties throughout the process
• Maintaining accurate records and keeping the database up to date
• Working towards individual and team targets
• Delivering a professional and approachable service at every stage

About You

The successful candidate will be:

• Comfortable managing several transactions simultaneously

• Confident using property software, computers and online systems

• Motivated by targets and the opportunity to maximise earnings

Previous residential lettings experience would be beneficial. A full UK driving licence will be required.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary of £25,000, depending on experience
• £2,400 annual car allowance
• Personal commission
• Realistic OTE of £45,000–£50,000
• Full day off in lieu for each Saturday worked

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Alternate Saturdays, 9.00am–3.00pm
• A full day off in lieu is provided when a Saturday is worked
